Amtico and Karndean are industry leaders who are both based in the UK. Amtico flooring made its name in the 1960s with its famous brick patterns, unique non-repeating prints and trapped mineral effects. Karndean offers an extensive range of timber and stone effect floors throughout their range including Knight Tile, Opus, Art Select, Van Gogh and Da Vinci ranges.
Warson Flooring also supply and install Luxury Vinyl Tiles from other suppliers like: Quickstep, Polyflor and Moduleo.
Practical & durable
Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) are great as they offer the authentic look of wood and other natural materials, whilst offering a more cost effective and practical solution to the real thing. The main difference between them is their construction, which gives each its own particular benefits in specific situations.
Luxury Vinyl Tiles are typically 2-3mm thick with a photographic representation of the flooring type they are replicating such as wood or ceramic. They are highly durable, waterproof and scratch resistant with a polyurethane wear layer, so ideal for hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and other areas where foot traffic, dirt and moisture are an issue. LVT tiles are exceptionally easy to replace.
High quality luxury
Luxury Vinyl Tiles are 100% waterproof, so can be used anywhere in your home including the bathroom; laminates are generally only water-resistant due to their MDF construction, so can be used in kitchens, but not recommended for bathrooms. You can also use both products with under floor heating if correct installation procedures are followed.Â
Warson Flooring offer a range of high quality Luxury Vinyl Tiles that can be used for commercial settings, or where slip ratings are an issue (i.e professional kitchens or wetrooms) and if there is an area where sound travels easily or is an issue both Amtico and Karndean offer products with acoustic properties, perfect for the upstairs of homes or in larger office spaces.
